Ray Parks turned in the second 40-point game of the PBA bubble by shining in a career night for TNT, which cruised past Terrafima, 112-101, in the 2020 Philippine Cup Tuesday at the Angeles University Foundation gym in Pampanga.
After missing the Tropang Giga’s opening night due to a calf strain, Parks looked refreshed and scored on an array of layups, jumpers and threes to wind up with a personal-best 40 points on 13-for-18 shooting from the field. He also hit 7-of-9 triples and added 10 rebounds, five dimes, a steal and a block in his finest game in TNT uniform so far.

I feel like I’ve been slept on,” Parks said during the walk-off interview. “So I just wanted to use this time to really just showcase my game and all the hard work I’ve been putting in and I’m just glad my teammates trust me enough to put the ball in my hands and just lead.”
Parks’ explosion was a welcome sight for TNT — now up 2-0 in the standings — after Roger Pogoy, who fired 45 huge points in the team’s season-opening win, cooled down and finished with just 11 on 4-for-15 shots. Behind the 27-year-old sophomore, TNT stayed in control all game and never trailed.
The Tropang Giga pulled away in the second quarter, when it used an 11-0
